KCCI VIP Reception

On April 7, KCCI honored some of the businesses and people who work tirelessly to make Tallahassee a stronger community at the KCCI VIP reception at Hearth & Soul. KCCI sponsors, board members and the 2015 and 2016 Community Catalysts gathered for drinks and hors d’oeuvres while celebrating some of the victories of the year. Guests also enjoyed a musical performance by Bruce Grabeal, aka B. Rewster, as he shared his beautiful instrumental 12-string finger-style guitar and vocals as a part of Tallahassee Music Week.

The 2015 KCCI Community Catalyst team celebrated their #SeeTallahassee project and in particular the debut of the new Market District mural, which was orchestrated by the team as part of their overall campaign. A huge thank you goes out to Fred Shelfer, Premier Health & Fitness Center, Super Suds, Porter Paints and the Community Foundation of North Florida Knight Foundation Fund that helped fund the Market District mural. They also recognized designer Libby Armstrong and artist Jonathan James who painted the mural.
