INSPIRING THE NEXT GENERATION
Students from SAIL {School for Arts and Innovative Learning} had a creative field trip to The Stacks today. They learned about this public art project, creative careers, and the power of placemaking as they talked with with professional artists Amanda VanStratum, Meghan Mick and Sam McCoy. Thank you Leon County School’s for working with KCCI to make this possible for the SAIL students.
Hands-on field trips like these show students what is possible when places are re-imagined with art, accessible pathways, lighting that improves safety, and multiple connector points to other destinations.
