Miron Richardson

Miron Richardson is a financial industry leader, consultant, and servant leader with 16 years of customer-focused experience with 13 years in financial services while serving throughout the community. In 2021, Miron opened VyStar Credit Union’s first branch location in Tallahassee and has been involved with implementing strategic planning and community-focused initiatives to create impact, promote financial wellness, and grow the credit union’s membership in a new market. As growth efforts continue in North Florida, Miron has taken on the task of opening the second VyStar location in Tallahassee comprised of a full-service branch & regional contact center. Miron recently assumed the role of Vice President of Universal Retail Banking with plans of growing VyStar’s member-focused areas across Tallahassee & throughout the Panhandle.  Miron was raised in Quincy, FL, and attended the public schools of Gadsden County. Shortly after graduating, he started working in financial services and now has a passion for helping underserved and unbanked individuals reach their financial dreams while developing high-performing and results-driven teams. Previously, Miron served as a KCCI Community Catalyst in 2020, a member of the Project Advisory Committee in 2021, and Chair of the Project Advisory Committee in 2022. He is a member & Past Treasurer of the Big Bend Society for Human Resource Management & is a graduate of the Class 8 Tallahassee Chapter of the New Leaders Council. Miron holds an Associate Professional of Human Resources Certification from HRCI, and a Diversity Equity & Inclusion in the Workplace Certification from the University of South Florida.
