Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce, President

Sue Dick has served as President/CEO of the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce since 1999. She has also served as President of the Economic Development Council of Tallahassee/Leon County, Inc., a 501(c) 3 organization, for the last 10 years. She is responsible for the oversight of a $2 million budget and manages a membership base of more than 1,500 local and regional businesses. Affiliated programs of the Chamber include: the Economic Development Council of Tallahassee/Leon County Inc., World Class Schools, Access Tallahassee, as well as Leadership Tallahassee – including Opportunity Tallahassee, Youth Leadership Tallahassee and College Leadership Tallahassee.

Sue’s current leadership positions include: serves as Chair of the Airport Advisory Committee. She is also an active member of the KCCI Advisory Committee; Town and Gown Advisory Committee and Imagine Tallahassee Sales Tax Committee. Sue’s is also active with the American Chamber of Commerce – Major Cities Council and is a former board member of the Florida Association of Chamber Professionals. A strong advocate for community involvement, she is a graduate of Leadership Tallahassee Class 16, a graduate of Leadership Florida Class XXIV, and serves on several community-related boards.

Recognized by Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, in partnership with Live Communications, Inc., as one of the first honorees for its inaugural “Small Business Appreciation Sunday.” Sue has also been named as one of “25 Women You Need To Know” by Tallahassee Democrat, and was recognized as “Entrepreneurial Advocate of the Year” by the Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship.
