Downtown Art of the Box Additions
Three new artistic traffic control boxes located in Downtown Tallahassee were revealed. They can be enjoyed through a downtown art walk tour along College Avenue & Bronough St., College & Duval, College & S. Adams, and College & Monroe. Congratulations to Mary Maurer, Sarah Painter, and Dan Taylor for their creative artwork being selected to transform these downtown spaces.

Thank you to Tallahassee Downtown Improvement Authority, City of Tallahassee, Fast Signs Tallahassee, and Taproot Agency for working with KCCI to beautify traffic intersections and create graffiti deterrents while showcasing local artists and their artwork. Research shows that public art initiatives such as Art of the Box enhance community health, sense of place, interest in art and accessibility to art.
