Fully Booked Media Event
KCCI, Leon County Government, and the Friends of the LeRoy Collins Leon County Public Library unveiled the first installment of the Fully Booked placemaking project at Pedrick Pond Park outside the Leon County Eastside Branch Library on Aug. 25. More than 100 supporters attended the media event to experience the Fully Booked elements.
It started with a media event and the unveiling.
The KCCI Team enjoyed celebrating Fully Booked and bringing their vision to life with all the public and private partners.
The 2022 KCCI Community Catalyst team was made possible thanks to these partners. This volunteer KCCI team envisioned the Fully Booked concept and placemaking idea and brought together even more partners to bring the concept to life.
Guests enjoyed walking the Wonder & Wander Story Trail and reading the first book that is featured on the trail, which is in English and Spanish.
Fans with sponsors recognized and details about the project kept guests cool.
A variety of vendors provided items for guests. From library bags to water bottles there was something for everyone.
